FAQs: What if I don't want to perform? Great! This class doesn't have a performance element, and is designed especially for those without theater or improv experience - although you'll leave this class with a working knowledge of the basics when you decide to continue your improv journey. What if I'm not funny? That's ok! Improv isn't stand up comedy and our goal isn't to be funny - although when we're being honest and living in the moment, the funny usually finds us. What if I can't think fast on my feet? Not a problem! Improv isn't about making stuff up out of thin air. It's about being in the moment and responding to the people and experiences happening in front of you - although by learning to silence your inner critic, you'll also find yourself acting and thinking more spontaneously. What if I want to try this but I'm terrified? As a recovering 'fraidy cat who was once afraid of her own shadow, I'm happy to talk about your concerns so we can ensure this experience feels safe and comfortable for you.
