While there will be opportunities for participants to share what they write, it is not required. This is a low key, informal workshop with an emphasis on writing and reflecting. I'll be in my studio on Small Business Saturday (11/27) so stop up and visit. (I'll also be there for part of the days on Friday and Sunday; call or email me if you are coming up those days and want to make sure I'm there.) I'll have signed copies of "Suddenly Stardust" as well as a selection of jewelry, bookmarks, ornaments, and a bunch of discounted "less than perfect" items. You can contribute to a collaborative poem, and just for fun, throughout the day I'll be reading stories and other bits of writing. But imagine the possibilities if you could tell yourself a different story! In this session, we'll use reflective writing prompts and fun exercises rooted in the improv principle of “Yes And” to silence the inner critic and turn those self-limiting statements upside down. As you prepare to ring in the New Year, it's time to write a new story about your creative journey - and yourself!
