I'll have pendants, bookmarks, copies of Suddenly Stardust, small artwork, other goodies. I'll likely also have some sort of interactive art or poetry activity. There will also be a raffle to benefit the Daryl Pierson Scholarship Fund, which provides a senior at East Rochester High School with money to put towards college tuition, fees & materials. We'll use markers to black out large blocks of text on pages from magazines and books, leaving a few words to create a unique poem or piece of writing. You'll be amazed at what is illuminated in the darkness! Children should be old enough to recognize words or have a grown up with them to help create their poetry masterpiece.
