NOTE: As we head into the new year, just a reminder that if you need a speaker, are planning an event, or are looking for creative inspiration for yourself, employees/coworkers, or other group, let me know! I'm booking workshops, speaking engagements, and events for 2024. I've worked with community libraries, writing conferences, cafes, schools, community organizations, and more. I'd be delighted to tailor an event for your group! * * * * * * AFTER SCHOOL IMPROV CLASSES FOR TWEENS/TEENS Your tweens and teens are invited to join me for after school creative play that builds confidence, hones social skills, and fosters teamwork in a safe, supportive, can't fail environment.
Students aren't required to attend all sessions, but registration is required for each session your student plans to attend. I have new pendants and bookmarks, artwork, ornaments, and other goodies for sale. Take the hallway to the elevator or stairs and go to the second floor. Turn right, and follow the hallway to the Gallery Door, across from Roc Academy. You can also enter CC through any of the doors and wander and visit any of the CC artists - there will be a dozen or more in studio between 11 am -4 pm! * * * * * * BLOB BOOKMARK MAKING WORKSHOP Monday, January 15, 2024 1:00pm - 2:00pm All ages Free Mendon Library 22 N Main St Honeoye Falls, NY 14472 Join me for an all ages art workshop at the Mendon Library, as we turn watercolor blobs into bookmarks featuring birds and bugs and flowers and creatures! You'll get to make two bookmarks - one to take home and one to leave at the library for someone else to enjoy. This event is free and open to all ages. Click here for more information or to register. * * * * * * BLACK OUT POETRY WORKSHOP Thursday, April 4, 2024 11:00am - 12:00pm All ages Free Mendon Library 22 N Main St Honeoye Falls, NY 14472 It's an eclipse themed event as we explore the technique of Black Out Poetry! We'll use markers to black out large blocks of text on pages from magazines and books, leaving a few words to create a unique poem or piece of writing. You'll be amazed at what is illuminated in the darkness! Children should be old enough to recognize words or have a grown up with them to help create their poetry masterpiece. Park at the end of the plaza near Ferrari Pizza and enter through the RED single door between Weaving Arts Guild and Penn Fair Golf, right next to the antiques shop. Follow the hallway and take the elevator or stairs to the second floor. If you're there for an event, signs will direct you to the Gallery Entrance (near Roc Star Academy), which is the best way to get to my studio (#25).
